Franklin Benton Woodall, age 87, of Hammond Indiana went home to meet the Lord on July 29, 2023. Frank was born in Princeton, AL on December 5, 1935, to Dillard Benton and Fannie Mae Woodall.
He is survived by his Wife: Ruby Woodall. Five children: Steven (Shelley) Woodall, Frankie Mashelle Williams, Millie Robinson, Marcie (Terry) Bunch, Stephanie Brannett. His Grandchildren: Matt Woodall, Ryan Woodall, Rachel Woodall, Melissa Woodall, Troy Williams, Frankie Rashelle (Andy) Bruner, Christopher Robinson, Nicholas Robinson, Brandon Bunch, Chasity Marchese, Anna Brannett. His Great Grandchildren: Tori Williams, Tristen Williams, Lyla Bruner, Ivy Bruner, Levi Bruner, Knox Robinson, Bryce Robinson, Neyland Robinson, Charlee Robinson, Brantley Robinson, Wyatt Robinson, Ryder Robinson, Francesca Marchese. His Siblings: Phyllis Woodall, Alice Faye Potter, Sandra DeRosa, Marcia Stratton, Louis Woodall, Stephen Grant Woodall. His many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Preceded in death by his Mother: Fannie Mae Woodall, Father: Dillard Benton Woodall, Grandson: Bradley Bunch, Brothers: David Woodall, Robert Woodall, Michael Woodall. Sisters: Edna Powers, Carolyn Reach.
Frank was a proud and retired member of the Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150, and a Lifelong Member of the Local 150 International Union of Operating Engineers.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends from 9am-12pm burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
