Frankie Lavon Adkins, age 62, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a construction owner, and of the Church of Christ Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching UT football and Braves baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Iva Nell Robertson Adkins; one son, Andrew Kyle “Andy” Adkins; and two brothers, Barry Edward Adkins and Kerry Ray “Kurt” Adkins.
He is survived by two sons, Chase Adkins (Jordan) of Ethridge, TN and Matthew Adkins (Amanda) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Charlie Kate Adkins, Ellie Reese Adkins, Emmett Adkins, Braxton Adkins, and Annie Beth Adkins; two nephews, Hunter Adkins of Lawrenceburg, TN and Johnathan Adkins (Amy) of AL; two nieces, Breeana Durden (Michael) and Kelci Dean (John Morgan), both of GA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those serving as pallbearers will be Bo Shelton, Doan Cope, Shaun Romer, Steve Chandler, Mark Surratt, Richard Littrell, and Eric Gean.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2023, with David Stofel officiating. Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
