Frankie Jean Minor, age 80 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Larry Wimberly will officiate.
Mrs. Minor was preceded in death by her Father-Frank Homan; Mother-Juanita Homan; Spouse-Joseph Minor, Jr.; Grandson-J.D. Goode.
She is survived by her Children-Charles Allan “Chuck” Minor (Gari Leigh Minor), Rebecca “Becky” Minor Dixon (Dr. Scott Dixon, MD) and Kristi Minor Goode (Dusty Goode); Grandchildren-Dr. Charles Wesley Minor, MD (Ashlyn Minor), Andrew Houston Minor (Dr. Ashlyn Minor, MD), Patrick Lee Minor (Ally), Katrina Elizabeth Dixon, Sarah Elizabeth Sanders (Nathan), Samuel Allan Dixon ( Abby) and Thaddeus Nathaniel Goode; Great Grandchildren-Grayson Joseph Sanders and David Graham Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Minor, Andrew Minor, Patrick Minor, Sam Dixon, Thad Goode and Nathan Sanders.
