Frankie Evelyn Priest DueFrankie Evelyn Priest Due, 96, homemaker and retired employee of Campbell and Due Contractors, died Thursday June 27, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Yates and Chaplain Lyndall Propst officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born February 15, 1923 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Clinton Priest and the late Sarah Frances Wakefield Priest. She was an active member at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served for many years as an elder and the choir director. Mrs. Due was a member of the Thursday Literary Club, the Friendship Homemaker Club, and the Covenant Circle of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, J.P. Due, Jr. of Columbia; daughters, Deborah A. Due of Columbia, Denise Due (Dan) Goodwin of Brentwood; nephews, Mark (Mimi) Priest of Bethel, Aaron Priest of Bethel; nieces, Amy Priest Robinson of Santa Fe, Jimmy (Sue) Campbell of Columbia, Eddie (Sherry) Campbell of Columbia; sister-in-law, Rose Priest; numerous great nieces and nephews; several cousins; caregivers, Angela Morton, Laquana McGloffin, Heather Shaw, and Cheryl Webster.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Oscar D. Priest.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Campbell, Eddie Campbell, Mark Priest, Aaron Priest, Dan Goodwin, and Doug Sandlin. Honorary pallbearers will include members of the Covenant Circle and the Thursday Literary Club.
