On Aug. 24, 1957, Frank married Ida Mae Martin, of Alexander City, Alabama. God blessed their union with two daughters, Brenda and Lillian. They resided in Tuscumbia, Alabama until 1971, and then moved to Florence where he remained until he moved to Birmingham after the death of his beloved wife, Ida Mae, on July 30, 2007, after 49 years of marriage.
