Frank M. Sullivan III, age 67 of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 2, 1953 to Frances Johnson Sullivan and the late Frank Martin Sullivan, Jr. Before his retirement he was employed in management with J.C. Penney, where he worked for over thirty-seven years. Frank attended World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro and was a member of the Franklin County Republican Party. He was also involved with Bass Clubs in Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and Michigan. He loved God above all, closely followed by his family. His passions were fishing, politics and finance. His catch phrase was “Life Is Good,” and one could see it in the love he shared. In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Sullivan and Mike Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Sullivan of Belvidere; children, Adam Sullivan of Vancouver, Washington and Laura Sullivan of Mount Hood, Oregon; mother, Frances Johnson Sullivan of Chester, Virginia; brothers, Patrick (Roxanne) Sullivan of Chesterfield, Virginia, and Jerry Sullivan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; many nieces and nephews whom he adored and a lifetime’s worth of dear friends. A memorial service will be held at the Keith Springs Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020 with Rev. Ron Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00–2:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2020, with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM at Providence Menonite Church. Interment will follow at the Warwick River Mennonite Church Cemetery in Newport News, Virginia with Pastor Harold Bergey officiating.
