Frank M. Corbin, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Decatur on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. The graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville on Sunday, March 29 at 3pm under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Frank was born to the late Sarah Ann and Frank Corbin, Sr. on October 20, 1939 in Oxford, Alabama. He married his wife Mary Middleton on January 17, 1975. He served as a radio operator in the United States Army and worked for many years as an engineer for the Chrysler Corporation’s car stereo division in Huntsville. A quiet and gentle man with a dry wit, he was much loved by the people and animals in his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, daughters Shirley Corbin of Portland Oregon, and Anne Marie Corbin of Nashville, beloved stepsons David Wimberley of Knoxville, and Paul Wimberley of Gurley, four grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Corbin, and sister, Frances Morrison.
