Frank James Haley Frank James Haley, 87, passed away peacefully with his family and the love of his life by his side at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, MS. Frank was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was a devoted Christian and loved witnessing and singing about his precious Savior. He was a true character with the best sense of humor. When he wasn’t cracking a joke or picking on someone; his favorite thing to do was sit on the porch with his sweetheart while reading his bible. He also loved gardening, fishing, hunting, and of course spending time with family and going to church. He married his precious “Mae” or “Lover” as he called her on April 12, 1958, after only dating for two months, it was love from the very beginning. They have been best friends and inseparable for almost 66 years.

Survivors include his wife Virgie Haley, seven sisters, Martha Jewel Hamilton, Barbara Jo Reed, Shirley Hall, Shelby Fowler, Betty Lichtenwalter, Glenda Bolton, and Virginia Lynch, four brothers, Roger Haley, Johnny Haley, David Haley, and Charles Haley, children, Marie Inman, Tommy Haley, Janice Haley, grandchildren, Dawn Gordon (Jeffrey), Adam Henderson, Kevin Haley, Brandon McElhenney, Kayla Hudson (Andy), great-grandchildren, Tesla Essary, Austin Essary, Ariel Henderson, Kaitlyn Gordon, Lily Henderson, Alice Henderson, Wesley Hudson, and River Hudson, great great-grandchildren, Gideon Ruth and Nova Spradlin.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Rad and Delavenia Mize Haley, two sisters, Nancy Payne and Mary Dillard, one brother, Billy Wayne Haley, one son-in-law, Ricky Inman, and two brothers-in-law, Randy Hall and Jerome Lynch.

Services will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. David Walters officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26th 5-8PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc and Wednesday, March 27th 1PM until service time. Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andy Hudson, Jeffrey Gordon, Adam Henderson, Austin Essary, Rick Lichtenwalter, and Nathan Haley
