Frank Henry Mitchell age 80 of Athens, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility. Mr. Mitchell was born February 6, 1936 in Lincoln County, TN to Bunyan Mitchell and Rosezetty Randolph Mitchell.
Services will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 12:00 p.m., at Sand Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Aaron Dunnavant officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife, Dorothy Mitchell of Athens; children, Joe Henry Mitchell of Ardmore, AL, Jerry Wayne Mitchell and wife, Samantha, Frank Henry Mitchell, Jr. and wife, Terry both of Ardmore, AL, Mark Anderson and wife, Kissica, Dale Anderson and wife, Jeanne both of Athens and Danny Anderson and wife, Jennifer of Fort Payne, AL; five sisters, Bertha Lee Paulson of Ardmore, Emmie Mae Lane of Taft, TN, Polly Hastings of Ardmore, Rosemary Poole of Kirkland, TN and Dorothy Ann Mushenski of TX; five brothers, Gordon Mitchell of Ardmore, David Mitchell of Athens, Larry Mitchell, Joe Allen Mitchell, and Charlie Mitchell all of Ardmore.
