Frank “Frankie” Allen Darga, 48, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on June 22nd 2023.

Frank was born on December 1st, 1975 in Webster, Texas but spent most of his childhood in Traverse City, Michigan. He spent most of his adult life in North Carolina and Alabama.

Frank was a music lover. He couldn’t help but to sing and dance anytime he was given the chance.  Frank enjoyed a plethora of hobbies, but especially loved fishing. So much so, that his brother Ben says he often thought Frank must have been born with a fishing pole in his hand. He also enjoyed cooking especially for others. He had such a big heart. Frank had a relationship with God, YAHUAH, and we find comfort in knowing he is enjoying these hobbies in heaven.

Frank was blessed with a large and loving family. He has 4 kids and 6 grandkids as well as  a beautiful wife with whom he enjoyed Mexican food and good will trips often.

Frank is preceded in death by his father Benedict Darga and his siste,r Tonia Keeton.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa, children, Quentin, Brianna, Andrew, and Hannah; his grandchildren, Avery, Cloude, Hazel-grace, Scarlett, Alice, and Isabella. He is also survived by his mother, Joanne Wood and his siblings, Ben Chouinard and Joni Darga.

In August, there will be a celebration of life service held in Ohio, where Franks brother, Ben resides. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the FACE IT foundation, which helps support men facing mental illnesses.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve family.
