Frank (Bootie) Wesley Turner, 90 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, December 2, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Turner was born May 5, 1934 in Limestone County, he was a member of Clements Baptist Church, he was a retired Painter, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Clements Volunteer Fire Department.  
Services will be 1pm Thursday at Clements Baptist Church with Caleb Gooch officiating, burial in Ripley Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday 11am until service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Josh Pitz, Shawn Howard, Andrew LaBathe, Bill Turner, Don Turner, Tony Turner and Chris Turner. Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Turner and Clayton Turner.
Survivors: Daughters, Cathie (Tony) Morris of Athens and Becky Herrington of Hazel Green, AL. Grandchildren, Jessica Howard of Tuscumbia, Ashley LaBathe of Elkmont, Lindsay Pitz of Decatur, Seth McElyea of Elkmont. Great Grandchildren, Lexi Pitz, Charlotte Pitz and Kohen Howard. Brothers, Willie Binford Turner of Covington, TN., Roy H. (Baba) Turner of Athens and James Henry Turner of Athens. Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Lee Patterson Turner and Fleecie Ann Turner. Daughter, Jane McElyea. Brothers, Lee Turner Jr., Marvin Allen Turner, Billy Wyatt Turner and Jackie Beryl Turner. Sisters, Clara Ellen Turner, Ann Nash, Betty K. Turner and Fannie Mae Stewart.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or Clements Baptist Church.
