Francis Leonard Jones, 84, of Huntsville, passed away on July 7, 2022.Mr. Jones was a member of Latham United Methodist and the Merry Mixer’s square dancers. He graduated from Pensacola High School and Berry College and attended the University of Tennessee. Mr. Jones retired after 30 years of civil service from the US Army TMDE as a Supervisor General Engineer.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Lane Jones; children, Carmen Jones Baughn (Bret Baughn) and Cheryl Jones Rowe (Stephen Rowe) and grandchildren, Stephen Rowe, Jessie Rowe, Alia Baughn and Denise Baughn.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Hazel Jones of Pensacola, Florida and siblings Hilda Martin, Benjamin Jones and Morris Jones.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
