Francis Fikes Elrod – Obituary

Francis Fikes Elrod, 57, died suddenly Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1955, to Delmus and Sarah Parker Fikes. She was a member of Pearly Gates Church of God Of Prophecy. She worked at Lance Garment and Golden Manufacturing. She enjoyed flea markets and arts and crafts.

Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, May 15, at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Phillip Pharr officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Jay Humphries (Jennifer) of Vina, AL; four brothers, Clovis Fikes (Vicki), Connie Fikes (Tammy), Ricky Fikes, all of Fulton, and Dale Fikes (Carol) of Tupelo; two sisters, Delores Gasaway (Ricky) of Tupelo and Charlotte York of Peppertown; and one grandson, Kent Humphries.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Fikes, and her parents.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Tuesday at McNeece – Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
