Francis Clarke Andrews, Jr., 79, of Mantachie, formerly of Saltillo, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, at his home. He was born February 5, 1943, in Memphis, TN, Francis Clarke and Anna Maxine Woods Andrews, Sr. He was a self-employed salesman of industrial fasteners and chemical supplies for a number of years. He served in the Tennessee Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic for eight years. He was an Eagle scout and held a private pilot’s license. He enjoyed flying, boating, and camping.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with the Rev. Ray Morton officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Martin Andrews; four sons, Mike Andrews (Karen) of Saltillo, Matthew A. Andrews of Heber Springs, AR, and Barry D. Smith and John D. Smith, both of Dorsey; one daughter, Tina Castleberry of Tupelo; one sister, Margaret Perry of Olive Branch; four grandchildren, Carrie Andrews Inghram, Mason Andrews, Carly Castleberry, and Jacob Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Inghram and Chase Inghram.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
