Funeral for Frances “Pie” Bowen Weatherwax, 86, of Moulton will be Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Reeder and the Rev. Mark Wakefield officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Weatherwax, who died Monday, November 12, 2012, was born March 3, 1926, in Franklin County. She was a charter member of the Radiance Garden Club and a member of Moulton Baptist Church for 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clark Weatherwax Jr.; her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one son, Roger Weatherwax (JoAnne); one daughter, Charlotte Nixon (Nicky); five grandchildren, Jamie Weatherwax, Patrick Weatherwax (Monica), Amy Nixon Jackson (Brad), Leigh Ann Nixon Wise (Reagan) and Sally Nixon Coulson (Owen); 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
