Frances Mae Davis Love  Frances Mae Davis Love, 74. A resident of Les Chappell Road in Spring Hill, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Terry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Love Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born January 9, 1949 in Lewisburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Scott Davis and the late Katherine Thompson Davis. She later moved to Nashville and graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in 1969. On May 26, 1976, she married Richard Larry Love who preceded her in death March 2, 2019.

Over the years, Mrs. Love worked for various places, including the Freewill Baptist Book Store in Nashville and the Tennessee Farm Bureau State office in Columbia as a mail clerk from 1978 until her retirement in 2015.

Mrs. Love was a person who always tried to do little things to help people including sending cards and making donations to various charities. She also enjoyed reading, doing word-search puzzles, and watching favorite shows on television.

Survivors include her two sons, Richard Love of Spring Hill; Brian (Heather) Love of Spring Hill; grandson, Landon Blake Love of Spring Hill; sister, Nancy Sue Davis of Nashville; sister-in-law, Juanita Westmoreland of Columbia; and several cousins, including Don and Edwina Luna and Joe (Dee) Westmoreland.

Active pallbearers will be T.C. Norman, Joe Westmoreland, Hal Holcomb, Chris Henkel, Drew Love, Billy Erwin, Tyler Lunn, Richard Love, and Brian Love.
