Frances was born as Frances Louise Smith on November 16th, 1948 in Piedmont, Alabama. She was the first child (of six) of the late William Grover Smith Sr. and the late Helen Louise Smith. They were all lifelong residents of Piedmont, Alabama.

Frances went to Piedmont High School and graduated in 1968. She worked as a seamstress for over 40 years with Springs of Piedmont and Centre Manufacturing in Centre. Frances was a member of Piedmont church of Christ.

Frances was married to Jesse Reeves from 1981 until his demise in 2014. They raised their 3 children together; Jeffrey, Melissa and Amanda.

Frances is survived by two daughters named Melissa Irene Wooten (Jerry), and Amanda Smith Tolbert (Adam). She also is survived by “her favorite son”, Jeffrey Malcolm Smith (Angel).

Frances five siblings are Janice Gail Smith, William Grover Smith Jr, Charles Randall Smith (Brenda), Judy Ann Stitts, and the late Bruce Van Smith (Sherry).

Grandchildren include Ashleigh Masters (Bryan), Lacey Hill (Jaylon), Austin Wooten, Josh Wooten, Dylan McMurry, Cody McMurry (deceased), Logan Austin (Sammie), Ryder Tolbert and Bronner Tolbert.

Great grandchildren are Brycen and Easton Masters and Kian Austin.

Frances was loved and adored by many others including a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
