Frances Louise Cobb, age 84, of Florence passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 12:00 Noon-2:00 P.M. at Jackson Heights Church of Christ where the service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bros. Kelby Smith, Stan Dean and. Brian Jarrett officiating. Interment will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Nunley, Conor Brenna, Ed Hines, Steven Hines, Greg Hodges and Brian Hodges. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Hodges, Gilbert Hodges, Tommy Hodges, G.B. Cochran, Flynn Barnes, Buddy Kelly, Buddy Arnold, John Arnold, Wallace Morris, Charles McClure, Bobby Holley, Dr. Brian Richards and the Elders of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Mrs. Cobb was truly blessed with the gift of hospitality always having her home open to entertain family and friends and loving every minute of it. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and left an amazing legacy of the joy of being a homemaker and her life was a wonderful example of what it was to be a Christian. While working at Loveman’s Department Store she ministered to many women from surrounding areas with breast cancer helping them with the proper bra fitting. She attended Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include: Daughters: Janice Hines & husband Ed Janette Speegle Brothers: Gilbert Hodges & wife Nadia Franklin Hodges Sister-in-Law: Maggie Hodges Sister: Sandy Humphries & husband Walter Grandchildren: Jason Nunley & wife Anya Kellee Brennan & husband Conor Great-Grandchildren: Madison Louise Nunley Austin Joseph Brennan Vivienne Rose Nunley Callum Desmond Brennan Several Loving Nieces and Nephews The family would like to express appreciation to AlaCare Hospice , especially Sarah Hannah, Catrina Finch, Lauren, Shannon and Jill and Dr. Brian Richards, Tracy and staff for the loving care they provided for our parents through the years. A special thanks also to family and friends who were there with us daily especially Ruth Downs and Lurene McGee.
