F.1.27.24 Frances Ingrum.jpg Frances Leona Snoddy Ingrum, aged 92, passed away on January 25, 2024 after an extended illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Frances was born on October 23, 1931 in Rogersville, Ala., where she spent her entire life. She loved her community, and her church family. She was a dedicated and loved member of First Baptist Church Rogersville, where she served generations through teaching children, women’s missions, and singing in the choir.

But more than anything, Francis was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her children, and grandchildren sharing stories, playing never-ending games of Uno (which she never let the grandkids win), and watching tennis. She was the family’s fiercest prayer warrior; always lifting her loved ones up to the Lord and there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Deen “GD” Ingrum, Jr.; son, Patrick Deen Ingrum; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Blankenship Ingrum; her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by her loving family: siblings, Shirley Smith and Doris Bates; children, Terrance Lee Ingrum (Cora) and Jeffrey Alan Ingrum (Dianna); daughter-in-law, Beth Ingrum; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren (1 of which is still baking), and numerous nieces and nephews. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery for friends and family on January 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to our mother’s favorite Christian mission, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. https://www.imb.org/generosity/lottie-moon-christmas-offering/#give
