Frances Keisler Nappier, 81 of Union Hill community, Morgan County, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at her daughter’s home where she resided for several years. Frances was born March 16, 1941, in Lexington County, South Carolina, the daughter of John Calvin Keisler and Ollie Mae Courtney Keisler. She and her husband of 63 years, Wallace Nappier, were married March 20, 1959. The couple had two children Karen Graham and Linda Allen. Frances loved with all her heart and was a servant to her husband, children, grandchildren, coworkers and anyone needing help along with being very faithful to her Lord and Savior and her church family at New Canaan Baptist Church. Her favorite saying was “It’s all Okay, the Lord is going to take care of me”. She loved to cook for others and especially bake cakes for people to enjoy. She was a hard worker all her life. After the third grade, she stopped going to school to help her parents with her siblings. She was the third child but the oldest daughter. Later in life, she earned her high school diploma while working a full-time job. She retired from Saginaw Steering Gear (GM) in Decatur, AL and after a year or so of retirement, she went back to work at KBM in Huntsville, Alabama for many years before retiring permanently.
She is survived by her husband Wallace Nappier; children, Karen Graham (Ken) of Decatur and Linda Allen (Kenny) of Union Hill, grandchildren: Adam Lowe (Marina) of Land of Lakes, FL, Kristina Lowe of Franklin, TN, Christopher Allen (Katie) of Wilmer, AL and Jake Allen (Jada) of Loxley, AL; great-grandchildren, Angelina Lowe, Elyssa Lowe, Adysson Lowe, Cole Allen, Kyle Allen, Evelyn Allen, Ginny Allen, Clara Allen and Houston Allen; bonus great-grandchildren: Nick Jester and Eliza Jester; siblings: Jesse Keisler (Betty), Karl Keisler (Diana), Calvin Keisler (Bonnie), and Patricia Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Maurice Keisler, Willie Keisler, Clyde Keisler, Sr. and Elaine Keisler Wheeler.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2023, at New Canaan Baptist Church in Union Hill with Reverend Eldridge Criscoe and Reverend Robert Cruize officiating. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
