Frances G. Collinsworth age 95, of Tuscumbia died Monday, October 31, 2016. Her family will receive friends Thursday, 11a.m.- 12 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Richard Parker officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Collinsworth was a native of Jenkins County, GA and was a member of First Baptist Church, Tuscumbia. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-three years, Don G. Collinsworth, grandson Steven Chad Collinsworth and seven siblings.
She is survived by her sons; Jerry Collinsworth (Sandra), Steve Collinsworth (Debra) all of Tuscumbia, sister; Selma Shannon of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren; Craig Collinsworth (Tracey), Gary Collinsworth (Elizabeth), Jenna Collinsworth, Emily, Cody and Hannah Collinsworth, great-grandchildren; Carson Willingham, Chandler Collinsworth, Shelby Burbank, and her faithful companion, her dog Rusty.
Pallbearers are Craig Collinsworth, Gary Collinsworth, Cody Collinsworth, Terry Collinsworth, Carson Willingham and Garry Follis.
The family expresses special thanks to Keller Hospice and staff, Dr. Karr, her caretakers, Gloria Bolton, Kathy Fuller, Helen Irons, and Annette Richenson. Thank you for all the love and compassion you have given over the past four years.
