Frances Emogene “Jean” Andrews – Obituary

Frances-Andrews-1426515719Frances Emogene “Jean” Andrews, age 82, of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, March 14, 2015. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with David Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Shoals Memorial Gardens.

Jean was a Colbert County native and a member of Tri-Cities Church of Christ.
She was a member of the Executive Democratic Committee and the Happy Strikers Bowling League. She worked at Wal-Mart for over twenty years and love all her Wal-Mart co-workers and friends she met at the door and never met a stranger. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; they were the light of her life. She also loved her church family and bowling buddies with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Andrews, son Bobby Andrews, grandson, Brian Andrews, great-grandson, Tristin Andrews, parents, Loy and Reba Greenhill, brothers, O’Neal Greenhill, Nello Greenhill and wife Martha, Kenneth Greenhill, brother-in-law, Louis Horn, nephew, Donald Barfield and her best friend, Helen Mitchell.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Ray Andrews(Carla); daughters, Debbie Andrews Jones (Keith), Leisa Andrews Johnson (Gary), daughter-in-law, Vicky Andrews, brother, Loy Greenhill Jr. (Faye), sister Doris Horn, sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Greenhill, Louise Greenhill, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and special friends.

Pallbearers are grandsons; Thomas Renfro, Benny Andrews, James Andrews, Warren Cain, Zachary Cain and Ryan Andrews.

Jean’s family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice.
