Frances Elaine McCool Taylor, 52, passed away at the NMMC-Tupelo on January 19, 2024. She was born in Amory on June 22, 1971 to James Earl and Brenda Adams McCool. Frances attended Greenwood Springs School and was a graduate of Hatley High School. She also attended Northwest Alabama Community College. In her younger years, Frances worked at Kerr McGee and recently helped her longtime boyfriend, Anthony Moore in the cabinet shop. Frances was a selfless person and always helped others in need. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her mother, Brenda McCool, Sipsey Fork Community; daughter, Kayla Tucker (Tyler), Aberdeen; son, Codi Taylor (Ericka); sisters, Jennifer Chambers (Jeff), Tupelo and Christie Tramel (J.T.), Greenwood Springs; brother, Andrew McCool, Sipsey Fork; grandchildren, Juliet Taylor, Dani-Rae Tucker and Wallace Mills Taylor; bonus children, Ashley Moore, Alisha Newton (Tyler), Amanda Yarnell (Mason) and Alyson Moore; bonus grandchildren, Kailey, Kinsley, Troy, Josie and Willow; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Jennifer Woods.
Frances is preceded in death by her father, James McCool; grandparents, Eunice and Walker McCool, Alfred and Jean Adams.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Jason Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in Ray Cemetery in the Sipsey Fork Community. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 11 AM until 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to LeBonheur or St. Jude.
