Frances Coburn, 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Jeremy Sanderson officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Frances was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved working with her Lighthouse kids. She also loved to travel. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Coburn; father, Monroe Lindley; mother, Lois Lindley; brother, Bubba Baugher; and sisters, Martha Goodge, Sarah Brown, and Naomi Baugher.
She is survived by her children, Lorie Hovater (Hollis) and Steve Coburn (Tamela); brother, Bill Baugher (Connie); grandchildren, Matt Hovater (Caity), Lindsey Cole (Jeffrey), Holley Carruth (Keith), Ryan Coburn, Clay Coburn (Kayley), and Zack Coburn (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Adalynn Hovater, Alayna, Nate, Micah, and Tripp Cole, Ivey Green, Brodyn and Braelynn Coburn, Oakleigh and Kason Coburn, and Saygen Sanderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Matt Hovater, Ryan Coburn, Clay Coburn, Zack Coburn, Jeffrey Cole, and Stanley Barton her grandsons.
The family expresses special thanks to Affinity Hospice especially, Matt Flanagan and Amanda Jeffreys.
