Ms. Frances Carroll Frances Carroll, age 83, passed away on Thursday June 6, 2024 in Reagan, TN. Frances was born in Henderson County on October 13, 1940 to the late David Justus and Sarah Blankenship Justus Buck, and stepfather Howard Buck Sr. She was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Blankenship Sr., three brothers; Tony Justus, Howard Buck Jr, and David Justus, and one sister, Nancy Ann Justus. Survivors include, her son, David Carroll, sisters; Carolyn Greene, Barbara Mullins, Martha Sparkman, and Sheila Smith, grandson, Bryan Blankenship Jr, and 6 great grandchildren, Connor, Gordon, David, Annalice, Maxwell, and Alexis.

Frances was a homemaker who loved to make crafts, cook, and bake. Her crafts and desserts won many ribbons in the Henderson County fair. She was an active member of the Henderson County F.C.E. for over 50 years, serving various leadership roles during that time.

Frances was a Christian and attended the New Hope Methodist Church in Lexington, TN. She had a giving heart and helped those in need as best she could, despite enduring her own hardships. This generosity extended to animals, especially stray dogs. She never turned away those in need. While graveside flowers are most welcome, in lieu of gifts, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Frances’ name to the Frances Hensley Animal Shelter at fhhas.org in Lexington, TN.

The family will receive friends on Saturday June 8th from 11AM until 9PM and on Sunday June 9th from 8AM until time of service. Funeral services are scheduled for 3PM on Sunday June 9th, 2024, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lexington Cemetery.
