Frances Berneece Gorman Profile PhotoFrances Berneece Gorman was born December 11, 1933 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Arnold and Mary Lou Cox Russom.

She was united in marriage to Roy Chester Gorman on June 29, 1957. Mr. Gorman preceded her in death on February 28, 2010.

Mrs. Gorman worked and retired from Memphis Bank & Trust. She then opened an in-home child care for many years while living in Memphis. She along with her husband moved from Memphis to Bethel Springs to enjoy their retirement in 1997.

A very creative lady with many talents such as quilting, sewing, and tending to her beautiful yard. She kept her yard beautiful all the time and took great pride in caring for her yard and home.

She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, TN.

Mrs. Gorman departed this life on December 19, 2023 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 8 Days. She is survived by a son, Larry Gorman and wife Danita of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Jarvis Russom and wife Shirley of Arlington, TN; four grandchildren, Becky Clark and husband Josh Lowry, Matthew Biggs and wife Stefanie, Heather Ford and husband Rian, Laura Gorman; four great grandchildren, Juniper Grace Ford, Vega Lowry, Landon Biggs, and Ainsley Kate Biggs; cousin, Joyce Hickman and husband Roy of Bethel Springs, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gorman was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lynn Gorman Biggs; a sister, Charlene Jordon; nephew, Randy Jordon.
