Frances Beeler Albers, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Lawrence County, TN, on January 7, 1931. She worked and met her husband at the National Institute of Health in Maryland. She then married and raised her family in Maryland. Frances was a child of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Porter and Grace Rigsby Beeler; her husband, Dr. R. Wayne Albers; one son, Jonathan Albers; three sisters, Maude “Sally” Hughes, Martha Hayes, and Anna Hinely; and three brothers, Chester Beeler, Lester Beeler, and Howard Beeler.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Steinhoff of VA, Belinda Caron of MD, and Gail Morrell of TX; one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Rogers; caring friend and caregiver, Gail McNeese of Lawrenceburg, TN.
A special thanks to Volunteer Hospice and also to Belinda Romer of Northside Medical for all the care and compassion given to Fran.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2023, with Brant Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee, Inc.
