Foy Patton James, 85, of Florence, AL passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. He was a 33rd degree Mason and Cahaba Shriner for 53 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill James and Susie James.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlene Langle James; son, Troy James (Michelle); daughters, Pamela Schechner (Steve) and Stacey Long (Greg); sister, Barbara Ozbirn; grandchildren, Heath Davis (Whitney), Jessica Agee (Brandon), Lucy Long, Katherine Long, and Maddie Long; great grandchildren, Jackson Davis, Greyson Davis, Easton Davis, Hattie Davis, Jami Agree, Mantle Agee, Cyrus Agee, and Spencer Trent.
