MOULTON-THe ALEA reports a 4 car crash near Moulton taking the life of one woman on Thursday, January 5:
“A four-vehicle crash at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, January 5, has claimed the life of a Moulton woman.
Barbara N. Terry, 71, was seriously injured when the 2005 Ford Freestyle she was driving collided with a 2013 Ford Taurus driven by Brent L. Durbin, 38, of Moulton. Terry was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where she died at 5:46 p.m. Durbin was transported to Moulton Medical Center.
Two other vehicles, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Charles R. Fretenborough, 53, of Bear Creek, Mich. and a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Rhonda P. Richardson, 46, of Columbus, Miss. were also involved in the collision. Neither of those drivers were injured.
The crash occurred on Alabama 24 at the intersection of Lawrence County 460, one mile east of Moulton.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
