LAWRENCE COUNTY-On Wednesday, October 14 the Trinity Police Department responded to a burglary call where a report of an intruder had been shot.
After responding to the call at a home on County Road 549 requested assistance from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Authorities identified the man as Jordan Miller, 23 of Trinity. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department took the lead in the investigation. After working through the night following up on evidence and information investigators arrested and charged these four people in connection with this case:
According to authorities this shooting was not a random act. All of the persons arrested knew each other. As the investigation continues other charges could be levied.
All four were booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
