Former Lawrence County Animal Shelter Director Charged With 17 Courts Of Animal Cruelty And Abuse

criminal charges  levied against her due to her operation of the animal shelter at her home in Lawrence County on County Road 170.

The criminal charges levied against Taylor are 16 counts of cruelty to animals and 1 count of animal abuse.  These charges are all misdemeanor charges and a bond has been set at $17,000 at $1,000 for each misdemeanor count.

The American Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Moulton Police spearheaded the investigation that resulted earlier this month in the removal of over 300 dogs and cats from the Rescue Shelter of Lawrence County and the current charges being filed against Bobbie Taylor are also due to this investigation.
