Bring your kids to register for Summer Reading next week! All summer, kids can earn tickets by reading. They can then turn in those tickets for prizes or can use them as entries for our drawings for grand prizes. Plus, there will be special kids’ programming every single day at the library! For a detailed calendar, visit www.flpl.org/kids, or stop by Youth Services to register!

Get an entry for one of our prize packages for every two books you read this summer! Simply write the books you’ve read on a Summer Reading Log and place your entry in the box for the prize package you want to win. The boxes and logs will be on the first floor of the library near the Circulation Desk. Also, every four hours you spend reading to a child counts as one book. Simply write “4 hours” instead of a book title.

Join us on Thursday, May 28 for our Adult Summer Reading kick-off events, featuring bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews! She will be talking at a free event at noon. At 6 pm, she will speak at a ticketed event featuring food and wine from the Red Clay Epicurean. Click the image above to purchase tickets, or stop by the library’s Circulation Desk.
