Celebrate the interesting and inspiring people of Florence with the launch event for Bill Norvell’s new book, Inspiration from Anytown, USA. The book contains photographs and profiles of 30 local residents (including the library’s own Lee Freeman). For this event, you will not only have to opportunity to get your own copy of the book and meet the author, but you will also get to meet some of the people profiled in the book. Doctor Who Series 9 Premiere Party

Join local poet Holly Dunlap as she reads from her new collection Feet to Water. Feet to Water is Holly’s first book of poetry. Holly lives in Florence with her daughter and her mother. She has a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a bachelor’s degree in English from Auburn University. Her poems have been published in journals including The Denver Syntax, BlazeVox in New York, and Illuminations at the College of Charleston, South Carolina.
