FLORENCE-Lauderdale Public Library has a long history of people who worked tirelessly to establish this free, public library that is open to all individuals. We are proud of that legacy and honor our history as we look toward the future.
It has been 20 years since the library opened at 350 North Wood Avenue. There are more than 140 years of history that has brought the library to this milestone. FLPL’s local history and genealogy department has developed a video to honor that history and look toward the future.
