Floyd William Turbyfill, age 65, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Russellville Hospital.
Floyd was a hard worker and a good father and grandfather.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, January 27, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Roy & Mamie Lou (King) Turbyfill; brothers, Terry Wade Turbyfill, Randy Turbyfill, Douglas “Pinto” Turbyfill; sisters, Carolyn Turbyfill, Shirley Turbyfill; and daughter, Dana Louise Turbyfill.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 44 years, Diane Stockman Turbyfill; children, Daniel Turbyfill (Misty), Rosa Tripplett (Justin), Diane Gargis (David), Beverly Stockman; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and two on the way; brother, Jessie Ray Turbyfill (Priscilla), sister, Martha Turbyfill Townsend; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
