Floyd Leroy Ellis, formerly of Richmond, VA, departed this life on Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earnest M. Ellis, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Jarian, Jeray, Promise and Joy Ellis, Stephanie Woods, Taurean (Qhana) Crutcher; grandchildren, Tyce, Aryianna and Jeray, Jr. Ellis, Jermel Richmond ; father, Earnest M. Ellis, Sr.; brothers, Robert Sr. (Frances), Herman (Laura) and Claude (Marquisha) Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and two devoted friends, Saroya and Rhonda Ellis.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Royal Chapel of Memories with Pastor Leon Manigan officiating.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017 and 8:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Royal Funeral Home.
