Floyd J. Shelton passed away February 26, 2014, at his residence. He was 75 years old. He was born December 6, 1938, to Steve and Mary Altha Yarborough Shelton.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra (Mike) Tankersley; sons, Zane (Debbie) Allen and Tracy (Betty) Allen; brothers, Louie (Sue) Shelton, Tommy (Brenda) Shelton and Huey (Becky) Shelton; grandchildren, Ryan Tankersley, James Allen, Jamie Lee Allen, Katelyn, Isaac and Rodney Childs; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held March 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Chapel with interment to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Shelton; sisters, Gladys Stewart, Mary Adams, Georgia Shelton, Opal Denton and Macie Denton; brothers, John Shelton, Paul Shelton, Arvin Shelton, Arnold Shelton and Gilbert Shelton.
