Floyd Gene Dover, 65 of Holly Pond, the New Home Community, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his home. Floyd was born December 1, 1957, the son of Calvin Monroe Dover and Vida Maverine Allred Dover
He is survived by his spouse: Karen Hyatt-Dover; children: April Michelle Garcia, Sid Canada and Heather Richardson; sisters: Vida Stricklin, Joyce Helton and Judy Purser (Tony); brother: Jimmy Dover (Eileen); host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents: Calvin and Maverine Dover, son: Dewayne Gore, grandchildren: Addie and April, sisters: Lois Rudder and Debbie Martin, brothers: Buddy Dover, Joe Dover, Tommy Dover and Jerry Dover.
The family chose to honor his wishes by cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Dover family with cremation arrangements.
