Floy Faye Prueitt, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, AL to T.V. Wright and Loda Griffus Wright. She loved children and was a babysitter for many years and later in life played with baby dolls. She was a member of Dennis First Baptist Church and her main goal was to see her children and grandchildren in church.
Services will be Sunday, December 1, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Jerry George, Bro. Adam Humphries and Adam Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 11-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Spencer (Dave), Rebecca Lambert (Tony) and John Pruitt (Sherry); grandchildren, Danielle Spencer, Abraham Spencer, Michelle Barron, Brent Lambert, Brook Brooks (Rodney), Adam Pruitt (Carlyn) and Ashley Joyner (Derek); great-grandchildren, Kimberly Barron, Chinoah Embrey, Hunter Embrey, Sai Embrey, Adrienne Hayes, Lauren Lambert, Cody Vick (Jaycee), Brady Vick, Blake Joyner and Brantley Joyner; great-great-grandson, Braxton Moore; brothers and sister, Lloyd Ray Wright (Joan), Gail Junior and David Wright (Christy) and special caregiver, Neva Armstrong and Gentiva Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulon Prueitt; a grandson, Colton Emerson and a brother, L.V. Wright.
Pallbearers will be Adam Pruitt, Brent Lambert, Cody Vick, Brady Vick, Rodney Brooks and Derek Joyner.
