FLORENCE-On November 17th last year the Council stopped having public comments during the Florence City Council meetings. Covid cases were escalating at an alarming rate and peaked in December and January 2021.

The cases are now declining substantially with a 40% drop in just the past two weeks. Because of this, the public will be invited to participate in future Council Meetings. Masks remain required due to the Governor’s orders and social distancing is recommended. The Council appreciates the patience shown during this time.
