FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a press release on the arrest of a Florence woman who has been charged with several charges related to the abuse of a child:
“On November 5, 2021, officers responded to 1235 Hermitage Drive Florence AL, to a welfare call. Upon arrival officers observed several children in the residence were living in very poor conditions. The apartment was covered with bugs, trash, bodily fluids and had a strong smell of bodily fluids.
DHR, Department of Human Resources, responded as well as FPD detectives. The children’s mother, Jenna D Marion was arrested and charged with Assault-Torture/Willful Abuse of a Child-Family and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marion is being held on a $16,500.00 bond.”
