Florence Police Summary Of Felony Arrest From March 23 Through 25

FLORENCE– The Florence Police Department released a summary for each of the felony arrests from over the weekend of March 23 through 25:

James Michael Harper 12/22/1980

“Harper was arrested in connection with a vehicle burglary that occurred on March 23, 2018.  A vehicle parked in downtown Florence was broken into and several items were taken from inside.  Stolen credit/debit cards were used a short time later at a local service station.  Harper was identified with the help of security cameras and arrested within 24hrs of the vehicle burglary.  Harper is currently being held on a $7,000 bond in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.  He is charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Theft of Property 3rd, and Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Card (3 counts).”

 

Bradley Myron Peacock 06/10/1979

“Peacock was arrested on March 24, 2018 for his involvement in the theft of a vehicle and other items from the construction site of the new Florence Middle School on Cherry St.  Peacock has also been charged with the theft of a second vehicle from his roommate in the 100blk of Harris St. Florence, AL.  Peacock is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $15,000 bond.  He is charged with three counts of Theft of Property 1st.”

 

Verde Clay Beede 12/11/1980

“Beede was arrested on a recent Grand Jury Indictment for Sodomy 1st and Sexual Abuse 2nd.  The victim in this case is a juvenile and currently resides out of state. Due to the sensitive nature of this case further details will not be released at this time.  Beede is confined in the Lauderdale County Detention Center and has a $75,000 bond.”
