FLORENCE-Florence Police, Florence Fire and Rescue, and Lifeguard Ambulance responded to a wreck with injuries on Highway 20 near the intersection of County Road 14 (Waterloo Rd) on Thursday, July 18.
Upon arrival, officers observed two vehicles that had collided head-on with multiple injured parties. At this time, little is known as to the extent of the injuries; however, four of the six injured occupants were flown to Huntsville Hospital and UAB for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
