FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect on Willful Abuse of a cChild, two counts on Tuesday, September 21:
“On September 21, 2021, at approximately 7:45 AM, Officers responded to Carver Heights Apartments to a child welfare call.
Officers observed two children under three years of age with multiple bruises. Child investigators were contacted along with DHR.
After further investigation, Billy Crunk, of Florence, was arrested for two counts of Willful Abuse of a Child. Crunk is currently being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $30,000.00 bond.”
