Florence Perry Finney, age 92 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Coffee County on February 19, 1931, to the late Stanley Marion and Fannie (Perry) Wilder. Before her retirement, she was employed at Genesco, E & B Carpet Mill, the Hat Factory, Wal-Mart Photo Department, and as a manager for several hotels and Cedar Ridge apartments. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, working jigsaw and word search puzzles, going to the casino, and making arts and crafts. Florence was baptized in the Episcopal Church in 1942 at the age of eleven. She will be remembered for her kind nature and as a hard worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Perry and Chester Finney; daughter, Karen Goines; son-in-law, Anthony Goines; and grandson, Gregg Crownover. Florence is survived by her loving children, Sherrie (Terry) Harrell of Winchester, and Sonny (Debbie) Perry of Rockvale; grandchildren, Kim Powers, Stacey Archey, and Shelley Crownover; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Cristy) Crownover, Shae (Travis) Taylor, Ethan Davis, Alexis Housley, Hayden Housley, and Sidda Powers; great-great-grandchildren, Rhylan, Denver, Ryder, Kingston, and Madison; brother, Fred (Dean) Wilder of Tullahoma; sister, Jean Roberson of Tullahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2:30-4:15pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 4:30 pm at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
