Florence Mayor Mickey Haddock announces new Animal Control Director

FLORENCE-Mayor Mickey Haddock is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Leah Fox as the new Animal Control Director for the City of Florence. Mrs. Fox began her employment with the City on Monday, March 21, 2016. She holds a degree in Animal Science from the Columbia State Community College in Tennessee, and has ten years of experience in animal care and management. Most recently, she was a licensed Veterinary Technician/Manager with West Lauderdale Veterinary Hospital. We are happy to have an individual with Mrs. Fox’s experience to join the City and we look forward to working with her.
