FLORENCE-Senior Trooper Reginal King released a statement concerning a traffic accident that claimed the life of a Florence man on Monday, October 24:
“A single-vehicle crash at 5:30 a.m. today, October 24, claimed the life of a Florence man.
Jackie Dale Robinson, 69, was killed when the 2015 GMC Sierra he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 14 mile marker, four miles west of Florence.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
