Florence Man Dies After Motorcycle Struck By Truck

FLORENCE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, has claimed the life of a Florence man.

Jesse P. Linville, 75, was critically injured when the 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating was struck by the 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Larry L. Loudy Jr., 31, of Florence. Linville was transported to North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near Alabama 133, approximately one mile west of Florence, in Lauderdale County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
