FLORENCE-The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with several drug charges, including Drug Trafficking:
“On 06/12/2023 Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence at 522 Blair St. The search warrant was obtained due to the drug dealing activities of the occupants of the residence.
While monitoring the residence the suspect left the residence. He was stopped by officers. During the traffic stop the driver threw out a glove that contained several individual wrapped bags of Cocaine and Marijuana.
Search of the residence revealed additional bags of Cocaine. The total weight of the Cocaine was approximately 114 grams.
Items were also recovered that are commonly used to distribute illegal drugs.
Arrested and charged:
Kenneth Germaine Kirkman age 46 of 522 Blair St.
Trafficking in Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1St, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Agencies assisting the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force were the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County /sheriff’s Office and the Lauderdale County /district Attorney’s Office.”
