Thomas Eugene Armstead
FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a man who has been charged with multiple sexual charges involving a minor:
“From July 2022 to February 2023, Thomas Eugene Armstead sent multiple obscene videos/images to a juvenile. All were sent through Snapchat.
On November 22nd, 2022, Thomas Eugene Armstead requested a photo from a juvenile asking for a nude image knowing that the person he was contacting was a juvenile. This resulted in the solicitation of the production of child pornography.
Warrants for SOLICIT-PORN-PRODUCT W/MINORS and 14 counts of TRANSMITTING OBSCENE MATERIAL TO A CHILD were obtained and served on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
He is currently being held on a $750,000 bond.
